It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

It is common, in the field of therapeutic riding, to tell about the many cases where we succeeded in helping a client face difficulty, to heal a disease and succeed in overcoming another challenge in life. We decided to rather direct the spotlight to the wonderful people who are behind this success, and present it from the therapists’ point of view.

Moshe, 43 years old, the father of three children
After years of working in Hi-Tech, I decided to make a change and to follow my heart and my love of animals, to learn therapeutic riding. Now an entire world has opened up, of treating children, getting up to a morning going to the ranch, with a smile of my calling, a smile of giving, not just another day at the office.

Itzik 28 years old
As a creative and sensitive person, I looked for the most suitable profession for me, and studied graphic design. After much thought and many attempts, I realized that I was not in the right profession for me. I decided to do something about it, and registered for a course of therapeutic riding. I worked in a stable for two years, getting acquainted with the world of horses, and fell in love. Today I am an instructor for therapeutic riding and I can say with the utmost confidence, that I found my calling in life, when I understood that I could help another child, another family.

Smadar 51 years old
The love of my life was horses – I thought of it as a hobby, not a profession. For thirty years I worked in customer service, and one day I decided to realize my love of horses and turn it into my profession. I started learning therapeutic riding; I developed and learned so much. I have been blessed with the opportunity to help children that I had not had before I came to the Center. The change was possible and very worthwhile. My recommendation – don’t waste another day not following your calling.

Uri 23
Following my military service, I was searching for what to study. I saw an ad for therapeutic riding and decided to check it out. I went just to find out … and fell in love on the spot, with the staff on the ranch, the horses and the concept. I used my army deposit money to turn my love into a profession for life. I treat children with special needs, and from every client I learn more about myself. Every day is a gift.
It is enough if one person in the life of a child, can show him that it’s possible to make a different choice.
